This collection was inspired by the 12 astrological signs. Throughout this project, different ways of abstract thinking and using the design principles helped me generate designs for the modern woman. Sustainability was important to me, so I designed garments with longevity in mind, and made them adaptable for all seasons.

During my time at Ara, I’ve enjoyed the deeper learnings behind design practice and garment construction, with my favourite class being drape pattern making. I know these skills will translate well in the future working within a studio and I hope to one day work as a designer.
